As with every edition, crews can register from 19 June to take part in the Gulf Week. Gone are flotillas 5 for boats from the 1960s-1970s and flotilla 6 for workboats. Gone, too, are the ‘bis’, for the growing number of participants, in 3 for the small traditional ‘touring’ yachts and in 7 for the small classic ‘habitables’. The Semaine du Golfe 2025 will be changing letters: from A to M. This change is accompanied by the creation of a new letter, G, for Guépard and Gazelles, for the traditional Gulf flatboats that have become small sailing boats, in wood or polyester. This change of direction also places the beautiful yachts of the former No. 4 flotilla in the J class. Like the International Class, born at the beginning of the twentieth century and raced by very chic crews? In any case, in almost twenty years, the flotilla numbers had become a sign of belonging for many crews. Yet they still seem to have lost the desire to tack in the Petite mer.
