Built in 1883 by Dornoms Boatyard as a pleasure boat , on similar lines to the local small fishing boats of the time. She raced in the local regattas sporting her original rig with longer boom and gaff. For many years she was based in Emsworth under the ownership of the local sea scouts and raced locally in the Solent area. In 2003 she returned to Salcombe and has continued to be sailed in the harbour, occasionally making day trips along the coast.
