This is where Benjamin Franklin disembarked on october 26th, 1776, when he came to negotiate the first alliance between France & Usa. Saint Goustan lies in the district of Auray and has plenty of points of interest such as the beautiful old quayside buildings, the superb 15th-century stone bridge which crosses the river Loch to Kerléano Park, the old market hall and the half-timbered houses in the town centre.
