- Betty is a clinker motor launch with mahogany planking and oak timbers, and mahogany decks. She was built in the 1960s by LH Walker in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, UK. She has a Sole one cylinder diesel engine which has recently been completely re-built. I'm only aware of one other boat in existence of this type.
