The Semaine du Golfe, the major gathering of heritage boats, which will be held, as it is every two years, from Monday 26 May to Sunday 1 June 2025 in the Golfe du Morbihan, will also feature concerts. Part of the programme has just been unveiled. ‘Erwan Tanneau, who is in charge of the event's terrestrial coordination, has put together an initial selection: a diversity of styles, well-known or emerging groups, Celtic sounds or groove and funky ambience, there will be something for every taste and every audience’, promise the organisers. Of particular note are the two dates of the trio Fleuves, high-profile headliners of this 13th edition, scheduled for May 29 in Auray and May 30 in Sarzeau.
‘A number of groups are returning to the festival, such as Souillés de fond de cale, a staple of maritime festivals, whose infectious good humour distils the spirit of sea shanties, with a touch of humour and Celtic sounds! To be (re)discovered on the Ile-d'Arz on 27 May, in Baden on 28 May and in Le Bono on 29 May. The three Breton-speaking voices of Kaolila, with their three amplified instruments, whose music is inspired by blues and folk, will be heard in Le Bono on the 30th.
Mighty Mambo (Latin and jazz) is scheduled for 29 May in Arz and 30 May in Saint-Armel. The Irish trio Talea will be performing in Sarzeau on the 29th and in Auray on the 30th. Also worth noting is the Touch of groove concert on the 30th in Plougoumelen.
